You’re Suffering An Anxiety Attack – How Do You Know?
Panic and anxiety attacks are on the increase. The cause of the increase isn’t fully understood, but modern life with all its pressure and stress could be a factor. Still, they are increasing and causing more and more people some serious grief.
How can you know you are suffering an anxiety attack? That’s a hard one as the symptoms are wide ranging and can be quite mild, although they can also be terrifying. You may just feel a bit of a hot sweat. But you may also feel like your heart is bursting out of your chest.
I guess if you were having the second type of symptom you’d be very aware you need help to put this right. If your symptoms are mild though, you may not even realise it’s a panic or anxiety attack. These mild symptoms could well be warning signs of something worse to come.
My wife suffered a bad panic attack while she was out driving our car. Needless to say it wasn’t just the actual anxiety attack that frightened her but the fact she could have crashed and killed herself and others. It won’t do anyone any good to dwell on this type of scenario.
If you have been feeling a little off lately, maybe suffering any of these symptoms…. Difficulty sleeping, a bit on edge or anxious, can’t concentrate, constantly irritated or fidgeting a lot. These symptoms could well be a sign of things to come. Things much worse.
Before you actually get into a panic about these symptoms let me assure you there are many things that can cause these symptoms. And none of them are anything to worry about. An ill fitting item of clothing can cause you to fidget and too much coffee (caffeine) will definitely disrupt your sleep.
However if you think you may want to delve further and check out if you are a potential anxiety attack victim. A panic (anxiety) symptoms test will give you a better idea of whether you are at risk. The test involves answering yes or no to a few questions and adding your score up at the end.
Then you can make the choice to take further action or not. There’s an anxiety (panic) symptoms test here.
